I. Pack for the road

A rope can secure a flooded crossing. Cloth can protect an evacuation from bad weather. Carry food, water and light; weigh the cost of preparation against the risk of going without.

II. Choose what you stand for

Prepare a rescue, test disputed evidence, or decide which needs a finite relief fund can cover. Read enemy intent in turn-based combat, build Focus and choose your moment to strike.

III. Leave someone a story

Rescued people return home. Witnesses remember who helped. Retire or die, then start a new adventurer in the same world. An inherited item carries its history; your new hero must build their own life.

Beyond the first chapter

Continue the Broken Concord faction campaign through its later acts and finale. Explore the Hollow and six further regional expeditions, with local encounters, crafting, trade and survival along the way.

Develop your character through four specialization paths, skills and equipment requirements. The full build allows progression beyond the demo's level-four cap and exploration beyond its local boundary.

Your world	Start a new procedural world. Windows can import a Windows demo world. Android editions and Windows/Android saves remain separate; transfer is not yet supported.
Purchase	$4.99 USD (or more) includes both Windows and Android full-game downloads on itch.io. Existing itch.io buyers also receive the Android download at no additional charge. Future Steam keys or Google Play purchases are not included.

Speak. Listen. Remember.

Choose a suggested topic or phrase it in your own words. NPC replies use authored dialogue, roles and remembered events. Typed conversation recognizes supported topics; it is not an unrestricted AI game master. Player dialogue is not sent to an AI service.

Tell us one choice you would make differently, one person you remember, or the moment you became unsure what to do. Feedback on repetition and confusing systems helps shape the next chapter. Include your platform, device and game version when reporting a problem.

Choose your platform

Windows: extract CHRONICLES-0.13-Windows.zip and run CHRONICLES.exe. Godot is not required. Settings includes remappable controls, larger text and audio options.

Android: install CHRONICLES-0.14.1-Android.apk on an Android 8 or newer 64-bit device. Touch controls, phone/foldable layouts, software-keyboard handling and background saves are included. This is an early mobile build; hardware testing is ongoing. Try the free Android demo on your device before purchasing.

Windows and Android are included in one purchase, but their saves do not sync. Android demo and full-game saves are also separate. The in-game glossary explains the systems.

Development & future stores

CHRONICLES is made by one solo developer. A Google Play release is planned, and a Steam release is being considered. Neither storefront release has a confirmed date.

I will support the itch.io Windows and Android versions through the 1.0 release. After 1.0, itch.io updates and support responses may become less frequent as I focus on other storefronts. I will announce any changes here in advance.

An itch.io full-game purchase includes both Windows and Android downloads published here. It does not include a future Steam key or Google Play purchase.

AI disclosure: Development uses AI assistance for code and writing, and the game and page contain AI-generated illustrations. Audio is procedurally synthesized using AI-assisted code. The screenshots show actual gameplay.
